The Ministers of Homeland Security and Defense have held talks with the UK’s High Commissioner to T&T, Mark Deen, on various critical matters of shared concern.

Yesterday’s meeting focused on issues including transnational organized crime, cyber security threats, border security and the challenge of illegal firearms.

Discussions also focused on ways to collaborate on measures to strengthen national and regional security.

Minsters Roger Alexander and Wayne Sturge emphasized the importance of continued cooperation in defense, law enforcement and capacity building.
