Local Government Minister Khadijah Ameen assures that all regional corporations have been placed on high alert in the wake of adverse weather conditions.
In an update to the media this afternoon, she says flood mitigation is continuing, with resources to be diverted wherever emergencies arise.
During a visit to South Trinidad today, the Minister told of several areas affected by the weather.
These include a partially collapsed road in Robert Village, a major landslip in Poole and the partial collapse of a main road in Aripo.
Ms Ameen says works will continue as the situation progresses.
