Batting first, RCB made a competitive 196/8, with half centuries from Faf du Plessis (61), Rajat Patidar (50) and Dinesh Karthik (53*).

Bumrah, in his Player of the Match performance, took 5/21.

In reply, Mumbai got to 199/3, with 27 deliveries to spare, with scores of 69 from Kishan and 52 from Yadav.
