The Chaguanas Mayor has hailed Price Club Supermarket for repairing a street in a bid to ease traffic woes caused by a falling bridge.
The bridge in the Perseverance/Factory Road area was closed on August 1st and, since then, there have been issues with traffic flow in the area.
Mayor Faaiq Mohammed says the repair of a short street linking Perseverance and Factory Roads is an act of community service and a testament to the company’s dedication to improving people’s lives.
The Mayor earlier this week said that the Works Ministry would decide on a course of action regarding the bridge by the end of this week.
