India’s victory over the USA today has taken it through to the Super Eights in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
Arshdeep Singh took a clinical 4/9 as India restricted the USA to 110/8 in their 20 overs.
Suryakumar Yadav then hit an unbeaten 50, as India got to 111/3, with 10 deliveries to spare.
The result took India to the top of Group A, with six points from three matches, and a place in the next round.
The USA still has a good chance of qualifying, as a win over Ireland, or even a washout, would see them through.
Pakistan still has the faintest hope of progressing, although that will depend heavily on how the remaining games play out.
