A West Indies legend says Cricket West Indies must clean up its act to help the region come out of its current slump.
Michael Holding spoke this morning at the CARICOM Regional Cricket Conference on Reinvigorating West Indies Cricket where he took the board to task.
He pointed to a recent CWI audit which he said left him depressed.
Mr Holding said CWI cannot afford to waste the money which it is getting, as he added that the ICC is not sharing funding sustainably.
He explained that money is needed to encourage cricketers to play the majority of cricket that the West Indies has to play annually.
Mr Holding made it clear that he does not blame cricketers for going to lucrative T20 leagues as cricket is how they earn their living.
