The Health Ministry is partnering with the Energy Chamber of T&T to host a series of initiatives to increase the number of voluntary blood donors.

Minister Terrence Deyalsingh met recently with Chamber President Dr. Thackwray Driver and Heritage Petroleum CEO Erik Keskula to discuss a three-day blood drive carded for October.

The Ministry says the collaboration is important due to the Chamber’s extensive reach within the energy sector.

This is also part of its initiative to transition the replacement-based blood donation system to one that is 100% voluntary.
