A headless body has been found in a Beetham river.
The Hunters Search and Rescue Team says the discovery was made shortly after 4pm by a contingent led by Captain Vallence Rambharat.
The river runs parallel to the waste water line on the southern side of the highway.
HSRT says the search was coordinated with ASP Darryl Ramdass, head of the Anti Kidnapping Unit, Sargeant Yearwood of Besson Street Police Station.
The search was also being conducted under the watchful eyes of the Port of Spain Task Force led by Sargeant Guerra.
