A 30-year-old man was shot dead in his Gasparillo home this morning.

Rennico Khan and his mother were asleep at their home on Barron Avenue when they were awakened around 3:15am by an intruder.

The suspect ordered Khan’s mother to lie down and shortly after, several loud explosions were heard.

Khan was found lying motionless on the bed and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
