Former police commissioner Gary Griffith will contest the St. Joseph seat in the next General Election.

Today, the party which he leads, the NTA, said it has been screening potential candidates in the past few weeks.

St. Joseph is the first to be announced by the NTA.

The party believes Mr. Griffith will be the ideal representative to assist in the development, as well as to properly serve the needs of the people of the constituency.

Current St. Joseph MP Terrence Deyalsingh commented by stating the people of that area will not be fooled.
