Former workers of Lennox Petroleum will be demonstrating in Port of Spain today, demanding outstanding money based on an Industrial Court ruling.

According to the OWTU, a 2018 trade dispute judgment instructed the company to pay the former workers severance by September 1st.

However, the union alleges that the company has failed to adhere to the judgment and has left the former workers burdened.

It says these people were depending on the severance to assist with their children’s back to school needs.

The former employees will gather at Victoria Avenue from 10am.
