A 57-year-old Finance Ministry employee has been charged with forgery for producing a false job letter.
In June 2024, a financial institution contacted the Finance Ministry to verify the authenticity of a job letter, allegedly submitted by an employee of the Investments Division.
Upon examination, the Finance Ministry confirmed it did not issue the document and the matter was reported to the Anti-Corruption Investigation Bureau.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on May 16th.
