Finance Minister Vishnu Dhanpaul has accused the UNC for practicing what he calls “zombie economics.”

During a political meeting in St Joseph last night, Mr Dhanpaul said resurrected failed ideas of the past are only good for bankrupting the country.

He added that based on the UNC’s projections, it is not feasible to deliver what they have been promising.

He said their claim “we will find the money” is not a sound fiscal strategy, and he believes it will only create a significant fiscal deficit.
