A man was remanded into custody last Friday after he was charged with four counts of sexual offences against his 14-year-old daughter.

The 54-year-old accused was remanded by a Port-of-Spain Magistrate until his nationality could be determined.

On July 13th, he was arrested and charged with one count of Sexual Touching of a Child and three counts of Sexual Penetration of a Child.

The charges stem from a report in March this year, when the girl told police of the alleged acts performed against her between December 2022 and February 2023.
