An effort is being made to add more high quality hotels rooms in Tobago, to help the island’s tourism product.

At today’s post cabinet briefing, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley said Tobago lost out on a Sandals hotel, which was subsequently opened in St Vincent with over 1,000 jobs created.

He added that a couple of foreign stakeholders have and will visit the island to view its prospects.
