The first tranche of payments for the $1,000 Book Grant has started, according to the Education Ministry.

In a media release, it says payments via direct deposit to bank accounts have begun and will continue over the next week.

The Ministry says it has also dispatched cheques to Education District Offices for distribution from Monday.

It notes that applicants will be contacted via email or call, and additional relevant information will come via the Ministry’s social media pages.
