$5.4 million has been invested in the Carapichaima West Secondary School, according to the Education Ministry.

In a post to Facebook, the Ministry says the investment has been made for electrical upgrades, roofing and ceiling works, plumbing, perimeter fencing and external repainting.

The Ministry adds that further upgrade works are planned for the school and are expected to be executed imminently.
