The EBC’s Registration Area Office for San Juan is closed until further notice due to damage caused by a ruptured water line.

The office is located along the Eastern Main Road in Barataria, at the corner of Seventh Avenue.

The EBC says the space was flooded out and there was damage to the ceiling.

It adds that it will remain closed while the required preparations are made to guarantee the safety of both EBC staff and the public.

This is the second EBC Office to close in recent weeks due to an incident.

The Registration Area Office for Princes Town remains closed at this time, following a fire earlier in April.

The EBC says it will provide updates on the repair progress and reopening dates of both offices.
