“Doubles” by Ian Harnarine will be featured on the Opening Night of the Canadian Film Fest tonight!

Produced by Mark Sirju, the film centres on a Trinidadian street vendor who travels to Toronto and must decide if he will help save his estranged father from dying.

KI of KI and The Band, has a cameo.

The film is based on Harnarine’s short “Doubles with Slight Pepper”, which won Best Canadian Short Film at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2011 and Best Live Action Short Drama at the 2012 Canadian Screen Awards.
