The Children’s Authority says a child seen in a video being choked by a woman has been placed in the care of other relatives.

In a media release, it says efforts by citizens, police and the Authority led to officials locating the child.

It adds that it will monitor the child’s placement to ensure needs are being met by the new guardians.

The Authority is reminding persons to report all incidents of child abuse to police at 999 or the Children’s Authority at 996.
