The Minister of Education says the Carapichaima West Secondary School was sprayed for mosquitoes today.

There had been a mosquito-infestation on the compound, which recently led to students sitting exams outside of classrooms in an open area.

Minister Dr. Nyan Gadsby Dolly explained more in the Parliament.

The Minister says the school will reopen as normal on Monday after today’s spraying exercise, which was also done at the nearby construction site of the new school building.
