A body has been found floating in the Guaracara River.

The Hunters Search and Rescue Team says the discovery was made at 8:57pm yesterday, about 60 feet off the South Bound Highway in Gasparillo.

The Team had responded to calls from residents that a strange man was seen entering the river area earlier in the evening.

The body was spotted after 2 hours of searching.

Captain Vallence Rambharat of the HSRT says fresh puncture marks were observed behind the neck.
