A security guard was assaulted by bandits during a robbery at the Caribbean Jewellers outlet in Lowlands Mall in Tobago this morning.

Around 11am, two men wearing masks and hardhats entered the store and announced a robbery.

CCTV footage shared online showed one of the suspects kicking the guard about the head and upper body.

Both suspects then made their escape.
