This Friday, April 25th, the Archdiocese of Port of Spain will host a requiem Mass for the late Pope Francis.

A requiem Mass is offered for the dead and is usually observed in the context of a funeral.

The Mass will be presided over by Archbishop Charles Jason Gordon at the Minor Basilica (Cathedral) of the Immaculate Conception.

It will start at 10am.

Pope Francis died on Easter Monday at the age of 88.

His funeral will be held this Saturday, April 26th, at St. Peter’s Square, Vatican City.
