Another body has been found in the Caroni River.

The Hunters Search and Rescue Team on Facebook says a decomposed corpse was discovered around 7am, about two kilometres west of the highway bridge.

A body was also found on Tuesday and has since reportedly been identified as Damian Nurse.

Nurse was said to have been missing for around three weeks.
