While T&T is not currently directly threatened by incoming weather system AL95, showers and a medium chance of thunderstorm activity are in the forecast.

The T&T Met Service says these conditions are expected to arrive in the country by Monday 1st July, 2024.

The National Hurricane Centre says AL95 is likely to turn into a tropical depression or tropical storm later today or on Saturday.

The Met Service reminds that there are no alerts, watches or warnings in place for T&T at this time.

Meanwhile, another disturbance to the east of AL95 has the attention of the NHC with a 20% chance of development through seven days.
