A woman, who accused a police officer of forcing her to perform sexual acts, has been charged with wasteful employment of police time.

The 62-year-old from Arima claimed that the incident happened in September 2023 when she was arrested and held at a cell at the Arima Police Station.

However, police say investigators obtained at CCTV footage from the station and, allegedly, nothing reported by the woman was seen on the footage.

She was arrested and charged on March 15th, 2024.
