‘Gadar 2’ has beat ‘Pathaan’ to become the top grossing Hindi movie in India.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the latest domestic box office figures for ‘Gadar 2’ which is Rs 524.75 crore in India.

It’s just head of ‘Pathaan’ whose earnings are said to be at PRs 524.53 crore.

The film’s time at the top could however be short lived.

That’s because Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ is on its way to the crown… the box collection of its Hindi version in India currently stands at Rs 519.69 crore.

Starring Sunny Deol, ‘Gadar 2’ is a sequel to the 2001 film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’.
