A young man has pleaded not guilty to two counts of Sexual Penetration of a Child at the Scarborough Magistrates’ Court.

The 18-year-old was granted $95,000 bail and will reappear before the court in September.

After 5pm on April 22nd, a 13-year-old girl met the accused at a recreational ground, and went to a nearby apartment where the sexual act allegedly occurred.

Several days later, the girl allegedly met the accused again at another location.

She reported the incidents to police on May 1st.
