Rough sea conditions expected this week

The Met Service says there will be some rough sea conditions this week.

In its latest 5-day weather outlook, it says high pressure cells will generate moderate to strong, near surface to mid-level winds, and rough seas across the Tropical North Atlantic.

The TTMS says seas to the near east and northeast of T&T are currently moderate to rough.

These are expected to be rough later today, reaching a peak of above three meters by late Wednesday to next week Monday.

While there is likely to be a gradual reduction in rough conditions after next Monday, the TTMS says seas are expected to remain moderate to rough until February 22nd.

At this time, no hazardous seas advisories have been issued.
