The body of a Penal man was found at a dam at Katwaroo Trace.

According to the Hunters Search and Rescue Team, it located 52-year-old Sunil Sankar’s body around 10pm yesterday.

HSRT Captain Vallence Rambharat says his team contacted by Penal police when Sankar failed to return from the dam.

Mr Rambharat added that Corporal Sookram, Penal Fire Station officers and the Mon Repos Fire Search and Rescue Unit were all involved in the recovery efforts.
