WASA says persons affected by a water disruption in parts of Tacarigua, El Dorado and Tunapuna should see restoration of supply by this afternoon.

Following complaints by residents of empty taps and tanks, 103.1FM News reached out the water company for a comment as there were no notices posted online.

WASA says recent heavy rainfall affected operations at the Caura Water Treatment Plant.

No exact time was given for the restoration of the water supply to the affected communities, other than “this afternoon.”
