A man and his two teenage sons were arrested after police found guns, ammunition and marijuana at their Toco home.
During an anti-crime exercise between 1am and 1pm yesterday, officers went to the home of a 46-year-old suspect to execute a search warrant for firearms and ammunition, dangerous drugs and digital devices.
They allegedly found a pump action shotgun along with five 12- gauge cartridges, a revolver, quantities of assorted ammunition and 2.63 kilograms of marijuana.
The man was taken into custody, along with his two sons who were in the house at the time of the search were.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident around 2am today, officers were conducting an operation in Santa Rosa Heights when they saw a man in tactical wear, carrying what appeared to be a rifle.
As the officers approached the suspect, he allegedly threw the object to the ground and ran off.
The object was found to be an imitation plastic and metal rifle with attachments.
