Five suspects were arrested moments after robbing a restaurant in St James.

During an anti-crime exercise in the early hours of Tuesday, officers received information about a Burglary and Robbery with Violence in progress.

On arrival, they arrested the suspects in and around the premises.

A quantity of stolen valuables was also recovered.

The men, ages 18 to 28, are from the Beetham Gardens and Laventille districts.
