T&T cyclist Nicholas Paul is out of the Men’s Sprint event at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Paul lost Heat 5 in the 1/8 finals, coming in 0.004 seconds behind Great Britain’s Jack Carlin.

He got a second shot after moving on to the 1/8 finals repechages, but lost out after a competitive three man race that was eventually won by Japan’s Yuta Obara.

Australia’s Leigh Hoffman finished 2nd ahead of Paul, however both failed to move onto the 1/4 finals.
