Touchstone Exploration has reached an agreement on the acquisition of T&T’s Trinity Exploration and Production.

According to Touchstone, completion of the acquisition is subject to regulatory, stock exchange and Trinity shareholder approvals and is expected to close by the end of the third quarter of 2024.

The oil and gas company says the acquisition creates a Trinidadian operator with a significant inventory of onshore and offshore exploration and development assets.

Touchstone President and CEO, Paul Baay, adds that the move will also create an upstream oil and gas company of increased scale in Trinidad and deliver growth opportunities.

Touchstone Exploration is an oil and natural gas exploration and production company and is incorporated under the laws of Alberta, Canada with its head office located in Calgary, Alberta.
