An unbeaten 124 from Marcus Stoinis led Lucknow Super Giants to a 6-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings today.
Batting first, CSK’s innings of 210/4 included 108 not out from skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad and 66 off just 27 balls from Shivam Dube.
In reply, LSG lost Quinton de Kock for a duck in the very first over, bringing in Stoinis, who went on to anchor the innings.
They got to 213/4 with 3 deliveries to spare… Stoinis got the winning runs with a boundary off Mustafizur Rahman.
The LSG reply also featured a score of 34 from Nicholas Pooran.
Stoinis was named Player of the Match.
