Protesters calling for an end to Israel’s war in Gaza picketed and were able to interrupt a major fundraiser for US President Joe Biden.

The event at Radio City Music Hall also included former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.

According to BBC News, the protesters gathered outside the venue, with some able to interrupt the event inside as well.

Mr Biden took up the issue as he spoke, saying “There has to be a two-state solution, a progression. But I’m confident that can be done with Israel’s integrity… preserved.”

The President’s ratings have been hit hard by his handling of the conflict, with many accusing him of supporting genocide by continuing to back Israel.

Voters are also unhappy about the economy, inflation and immigration.
