The Met Office has issued a second update for its Yellow Level Hazardous Seas Alert as north/north easterly long period swells currently affect T&T’s coastlines.

Rough seas continue due to spring tides and conditions are expected to worsen during high tides.

It will bring larger than normal breakers and the occasional battering wave in the surf zone, however conditions will be intermittent in the Gulf of Paria.

All marine interests are advised to exercise caution and limit nearshore activities where possible.

The Yellow Level Hazardous Seas Alert remains in effect until tomorrow at 4PM.
