A yellow-level adverse weather alert is in place for Trinidad until 4pm tomorrow, November 27th, 2024.

According to the Met Service, an approaching trough is expected to bring periods of light to moderate showers with a 70% chance of heavier showers or thunderstorms intermittently.

It adds that the weather pattern increases the risk of landslides and landslips, particularly in hilly areas of Northern Range.

Persons are advised to monitor weather conditions and to avoid driving or wading through flood waters.
