Police recovered a stolen vehicle, and a firearm was seized following a car chase along Chin Chin Road, Cunupia on Saturday night.

Police were alerted to a robbery at Price Plaza, where a silver Nissan Sentra was taken away at gunpoint.

They spotted the vehicle along Chin Chin Road as it was turning into Bonne Aventure Road.

During the chase, when occupants of the vehicle opened fire and the police shot back.

The vehicle crashed into a gate, with two male suspects escaping while a 30 year old woman was held trying to exit the back seat.
