A young woman has died in a car crash in Debe.

According to reports, a Mitsubishi Lancer ran into a utility pole around 5:30pm yesterday.

Two persons were taken to hospital where Kaylee Poonan succumbed to injuries.

Reports indicate that the driver was in critical condition.
