A local music producer and band leader claims a mistake on T&TEC’s end was the reason his electricity bill jumped from a high of about $1,500 to over $5,600.

Leader of Avatar the Band, Kishore “Wizzy” Ramdath, initially shared the story on June 18th of how his bill, due on May 31st, had more than tripled in cost.

After his post to Facebook went viral, Ramdath yesterday posted an update.
