WITCO and the SWWTU have signed a Collective Bargaining Agreement for the period from January 2026 to December 2028.
Signed on May 29th 2024, the Agreement is being hailed as historic – the company says it is the first CBA nationally to be settled up to this period.
It says this sets a new benchmark for labour relations and represents a commitment to enhancing the overall employee experience and fostering a workplace culture dedicated to synergy and support.
Key highlights of the Agreement include a 7% increase in wages and salaries spread out over a three-year period.
WITCO has also committed to implementing enhanced benefits and upgrading various provisions to further support the workforce’s well-being and professional development.
