The West Indies ODI team were demolished in the first match of the series against India, played today in Barbados.
The home team were bowled out for 114 runs in 23 overs, due to a masterclass of spin from Ravi Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav, who together took seven wickets.
Shai Hope top scored with 43 runs for the Windies, but his score was the only one to highlight the poor innings.
India’s batsmen also struggled reaching their target, after losing five wickets within 22.5 overs.
Gudakesh Motie took 2/26 as Ishan Kishan top scored for India with 52.
The 2nd ODI is being played on Saturday, then they return to Trinidad for the third ODI at the Brian Lara Stadium next Tuesday.
