WI win back-to-back T20Is vs. India at home

For the first time since 2016, the West Indies have won back-to-back T20 Internationals vs India.

The win in the 2nd T20I, played at Providence Stadium in Guyana on Sunday, saw Nicholas Pooran striking a clean 67 to lead the Windies chase.

India, batting first, scored 152 for 7 in 20 overs with Tilak Varma scoring 51. Romario Shepherd, Alzarri Joseph and Akeal Hosein took 2 wickets each.

In response, the West Indies lost 8 wickets in the chase, but they got there with 7 balls to spare.

The Windies lead the series 2-0 after two games, with three to be played — one more in Guyana and the final two in Ft. Lauderdale.

The third game will be played on Tuesday 8th August.
