West Indies U19s have won their first Group 2 Super Sixes match of the World Cup, chasing 232 against Sri Lanka.
The chase was anchored by Steve Wedderburn’s 61 and 30-plus scores from captain Stephan Pascal and Jordan Johnson.
In the lower order, Nathan Sealy made 27 to take the team to victory by three wickets with three balls to spare.
Earlier, Sri Lanka made 231 all out in 50 overs as Raneico Smith took 4/47 to lead the West Indies bowlers.
The result takes West Indies to 2nd in Group 2 Super Sixes but the other four teams in the group have a game in hand.
