West Indies to start 2024 U19 World Cup against South Africa

West Indies have been grouped with England, South Africa and Scotland for the Group Stage of the 2024 U19 World Cup.

The ICC today revealed the schedule for the tournament in Sri Lanka to be played from January 13th to February 4th.

West Indies first fixture will be against South Africa on January 14th at Colombo.

Defending champions India have been grouped with Bangladesh, Ireland and USA.

The top three teams from each of the four groups will advance to the Super Six stage where two groups of six will be created.

The top two teams from each of the Super Six groups will progress to the semi-finals with the final set for February 4th at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium.
