Wayne Sturge has been appointed as a Minister in the Ministry of Homeland Security, effective June 10th.
Joining Roger Alexander in the Ministry, the new portfolio is in addition to his current role as Minister of Defence.
The appointment, published in the Gazette on June 14th, was done by Acting President Wade Mark on the recommendation of Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
It was done in accordance with section 76 of T&T’s Constitution.
