A water disruption in parts of Northeast Trinidad is being caused by emergency repairs on a defective valve near Maloney.

WASA says the pipeline is in the vicinity of the traffic lights on the Churchill Roosevelt Highway.

It adds that repairs should be completed by 4pm today.

Areas affected include Sangre Grande, Sangre Chiquito, Manzanilla, Coalmine, Guaico/Guaico Tamana, Malabar Phases 1,3 & 4, Tumpuna Road, San Rafael, Brazil, La Horquetta, Carapo/O’Meara Road, Signature Park/Mausica Road, Maloney Gardens, Five Rivers, Millennium Park, Sunrise Park and Golden Grove Road.
